The name HURZ comes from the ancient Oscan language, meaning “garden” — later translated as hortus in Latin. This space honors that legacy with a modern interpretation rooted in natural beauty and historical memory.

Spanning over 1,000 square meters and laid out across multiple terraces, the garden features lawns, stone walls, paved paths, and a diverse selection of plants and flowers. Seasonal scents and vibrant colors accompany visitors on a sensorial journey, promoting peace, reflection, and connection with the earth.

Striking corten steel sculptures of ancient Samnite warriors stand throughout the space, blending seamlessly with the landscape and paying homage to the strength and identity of this land. The largest terrace offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the surrounding valley — an ideal spot for relaxation, contemplation, or simply admiring the silence.
