In the evocative setting of Padre Pio’s birthplace, the first edition of the “Run for the Libera” takes place—a 10 km road race organized by the Living Nativity Committee of Pietrelcina. The event is held on the Saturday before the Feast of Our Lady of Libera, along an urban course that winds through the village’s most iconic streets and landmarks.
